Fabulous Beauty Editor Lauren Ezekiel reveals this month's sparkliest new beauty buys
ANOTHER month, another pay day and, of course, another batch of beauty essentials on the market.
Here Fabulous Beauty Editor Lauren Ezekiel reveals this month's sparkliest new beauty buys...
Benefit The Great Brownanza!, £49.50
Benefit holds 58% of the UK market share in brows, and I’m not surprised – its cult Gimme Brow gives me life.
So this is the ultimate for a brow babe, with five of its bestsellers, full-size and half the price. All in this super-cute wardrobe, too!
Erborian Spray-To-Mask, £34
I’m a sucker for anything Erborian. The brand combines French pharmaceutical expertise with Korean ingredients, and I’ve yet to find a bad product.
This mask is so easy to apply – just spritz on to clean skin and rinse after 5-10 minutes. With ginseng and liquorice root extract (known glow boosters), it’s perfect for the morning after the night before.
Revlon Youth FX Fill + Blur Concealer, £11.99
Handy applicator? Check. Full coverage? Check. Crow’s feet and dark circles banished? Check! Check!
Yep, this wonder stick has found a permanent place in my handbag. It’s perfect for on-the-go coverage and hides a multitude of sins.

YSL Tatouage Couture Matte Stain, £29
I love bold lippy, but it doesn’t love me as it usually ends up smeared across my face (or my daughter’s – oops).
So this budge-proof liquid lipstick, which comes in 18 shades, from nude to statement red, is a godsend.
Percy & Reed Perfectly Perfecting Wonder Wash Shampoo and Wonder Care Conditioner, £18 each
Colour protection, deep repair or moisture boost? Choosing a shampoo and conditioner can be a minefield, especially if your needs change with the day/week/time of month.
So I’m sold on this does-it-all duo, full of lock-loving ingredients like pro-vitamin B5, aloe vera and grapeseed oil. They smell gorge, too.

What’s the difference between a skin concentrate and a serum? Molly, Dorking
Good question, Molly. This also stumped me, so I sought advice from Dr Mike Bell, skincare scientific advisor for Boots UK.
He explained that while both are applied post-cleanse, a serum tends to be used for anti-ageing and is followed by a moisturiser, whereas a concentrate focuses on the skin’s immediate needs and can be worn alone.
Boots’ new skincare brand Your Good Skin boasts an impressive Balancing Concentrate, £16.99, that I’ve become obsessed with.
Instead of looking at long-term prevention, this bad boy is all about the here and now – sorting anything from redness and sensitivity to adult acne or dry skin in less than 28 days.
