HAH, and OMG!!!!!:-)) I always look at picties before reading, so first blink I actually wondered how on earth did you achieve that beautiful drape of the blouse underneath the jacket! Turns out it is a scarf???
LOL-and Whooo-hooo! Creative people of the last century unite!:-))
I wasn't daring to do this for myself, as worrying too much of a malfunction, BUT I remember an artist lady (neighbor and friend of my SIL) who did this exact trick once when didn't have the right top in her wardrobe for a suit she wanted to wear at a versnisage.
Back in 1989 (I was in college and accidentally visiting my brother's that evening) when she came over in a hurry and asked my SIL to pin at the back with safety pins the scarf in the most artsy way over her torso so she could leave without being late-taxi was waiting down the street!
No time for wondering but we have had some terrible fun till succeeding the job as she required, LOL! She was almost late to the event but said she felt gorgeous as the scarf has had some beautiful colors and drape--and all was fortunatelly malfunction free, too.
Now, those were the (great!) times -thanx for providing a moment of nostalgia to me!
BTW ,Your outfit is of course more than fab-and love the horse brooche, too!:-).
